High schoolers and young adults up to age 22 from all over the metro area participate on the Signature team in this engaging and challenging sport. For those not familiar with winter guard, it combines athleticism with dance; and includes traditional color guard skills, such as flag twirling and rifle/saber tossing. Some experience is helpful, but not necessary. A disciplined work ethic is vital.

The Signature audition process begins in September with lessons and practices leading up to auditions in late fall.

The season begins at the beginning of November, with practices every Saturday and Sunday, excluding holidays. There are weekly competitions from February to April.

Funding for the teams activities comes primarily from running a weekly Bingo game in Arvada, CO, and membership dues. Participation in Bingo is mandatory for team members.
